This is one of the youngest fleets in the world, consisting of modern Boeing 737-700 and 800 aircraft and Embraer 190ARs. The Boeing 737-700 has 124 seats, 12 in Business Class and 112 in the main cabin. The Boeing 737-800 seats 155 passengers - 14 in Business Class and 141 in the main cabin. The Embraer 190ARs has 94 seats, 10 in Business Class and 84 in the main cabin.
Blended Winglet Technology
Copa was the first airline in Latin America to operate Boeing 737-700s and 800s with “blended winglets” technology. Winglets increase flight efficiency and improve aircraft performance by reducing fuel consumption by 3.5 percent. In addition, “winglets” help the environment by reducing noise and pollution.
